Driving in Turkey can be a little different at first. The flashing of headlights and sounding of horn is currently more common than in the UK but are mainly used to let others know someone is overtaking a slower car/tractor etc, so quite useful in fact. Lane discipline can be a bit lax on twisty roads so be aware and Indicator usage doesn't always happen, but don't let your standards down, be a responsible driver and signal your intentions to avoid any confusions.

AT THE PETROL or DIESEL STATION
In Turkey, Forecourt attendants are employed at Refilling stations and will fill your car for you.
Mistakes are mostly uncommon, but to avoid confusion, it is best to show the attendant how much you wish to spend and to tell them either Benzin (Petrol) or Diesel (whichever is appropriate for your rental car). Fuel Stations accept Cash or Credit Cards.

THE ROAD WORKS IN DALAMAN AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.
Dalaman Airport road work is completely done and is now convenient to drive. From Göcek to Fethiye road, there is a part around 15 kilometres work that is still on going so please take extra caution and drive slowly. From Dalaman to Marmaris road work is almost finished. At some part from Marmaris going to Datca road, work is still on going so please be cautious of the traffic sign.
